Rule 14-3.1. Application Required

    (a) Applications. Persons wishing to become program mediators or arbitrators shall apply to the committee for its review and certification. The committee shall promulgate standards and forms for certification hereunder. Membership in The Florida Bar shall not be required for certification.

    (b) CLE Credit for Service. Members of The Florida Bar who are program mediators and arbitrators shall be entitled to a
maximum of 5 hours of CLE credit in each reporting period in the area of ethics for service in the program as provided in the policies adopted under this chapter.
