21.615. Fees on appeal of criminal action to circuit court

(1) In an appeal to a circuit court from a justice court or municipal court in an action for commission of a state violation or an action for violation of a city charter or ordinance, but not in an action for commission of a state crime:
(a) The filing, trial and law library fees required by ORS 21.110, 21.270 and 21.350 are required of the appellant and respondent.
(b) The legal aid fee required by ORS 21.480 is required of the appellant.
(2) Payment of fees required by subsection (1) of this section is subject to ORS 20.140.
(3) Fees required by subsection (1) of this section may be waived or deferred by a judge of the circuit court for the reason and in the manner provided in ORS 21.680 to 21.698.
